Why did you name the class Rainbow in the Dark, Mood Boosting Foods for Winter?
You ask.
Because I freaking love the lyrics, and the synth and thedrums and guitar and Ronnie James Dio’s voice. But I especially love the lyrics.
I CRY OUT FOR MAGIC. THE LIGHTNING BRINGS ME DOWN CAUSE IT’S FREE AND ITS ME WHO’S LOST AND NEVER FOUND. DO YOUR DEMONS EVER LET YOU GO?
RJD, I feel you. just so DRAMA, and I love that. Especially when I’m feeling poopy, cause honestly, sometimes the best way to cheer up is HOLD YOURSELF A PITY PARTY AND DO IT GOOD.
Then pet your cats and have a bath and make some warm, colorful, cheering food with lots of colors. Or whatever your version of that is. Scroll down for lyrics and link to song. 🙂
Thanks for reading! Here’s the recipe for the baba ganouj.
Rainbow in the Dark by Ronnie James DioWhen there’s lightning, you know it always brings me down
‘Cause it’s free and I see that it’s me
Who’s lost and never found
I cry out for magic, I feel it dancing in the light
It was cold, I lost my hold
To the shadows of the nightNo sign of the morning coming
You’ve been left on your own
Like a rainbow in the dark
A rainbow in the darkDo your demons, do they ever let you go?
When you’ve tried, do they hide, deep inside
Is it someone that you know
You’re just a picture, you’re an image caught in time
We’re a lie, you and I
We’re words without a rhymeThere’s no sign of the morning coming
You’ve been left on your own
Like a rainbow in the dark
Just a rainbow in the dark, yeah
