How much do groceries cost?

It depends on what you're eating and how many meals I'm making. In general, a week's worth of food for four people will cost between $250-350.

Will you do all my grocery shopping?

Yes, if you let me know what you'd like a day or two before my shopping trip.

Will you do other errands?

No, sorry.

How long will you be in my house?

The first visit is typically 6-8 hours. It tapers down to 4-6 as I get used to your kitchen.

Do I need to be home when you're there?

No, you don't; but you may if you'd like.

Are you licensed/bonded/insured?

I am licensed as a small business in King County and am insured through my national organization, the United States Personal Chef Association.

Do you do private parties and catering?

I will cater for small to medium-sized gatherings (under 75 people). I have a different fee schedule, which is available on request.

Can you make other things like desserts, drinks and snacks?

Yes. These things are prepared in addition to your weekly menu and are priced separately.

Do you do breakfast or lunch?

Not typically. If your needs require either, I will bill you separately for these meals.

Do you make baby food?

Yes!

Everyone in my family eats different things-can you accommodate that?

Yes. There are usually many foods that your whole family can enjoy-I'll find them for you.

Can this be a once-a-day service?

No, because my business depends on me being able to visit several homes in the course of a week. I guarantee that your food will be as delicious reheated as it is the day I make it.
